Dawn's Healthy Green Apple Pie

Crust

1/2 cup white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup almond meal flour (they have it at Trader Joe's)
1/2 teaspoon oil (olive works fine)
1/2 an avocado
Sweeten to taste

Filling

4 green apples cut into pieces
Juice of 1 lemon
Sweeten to taste

Directions

Cook the filling over a low flame. Place the crust ingredients in a bowl and mix, adding only enough water to form the crust
without making it wet. Press half of the crust into a non-stick pie pan. Add the filling. Cover the top with the rest of the crust. Bake
14 minutes at 350 degrees.  

Serves 4 or 5.  (Yeah, right. I ate three-quarters of Dawn's pie myself. Serves 1 or 2.)

This makes a great dessert. If you decide not to use a lot of sweetener it will work as a main dish.
